M 110

The self-propelled 8 inch (203 mm) M110 Howitzer was the largest self-propelled howitzer available in the arsenal of the United States Army.Consisting of a 203 mm M115 howitzer mounted on a purpose-built chassis, it was deployed in general support battalions in the division artillery and in separate battalions at the corps and army level. Missions provide general support, enemy air defense systems counter-battery fire, and suppression. The M110 has been sold into several countries.
